Dear Masters and instructors,
On behalf of the staff and students at Karate for Kids, Middle Tennessee ATA Black belt Academy in Cookeville, Tennessee, I would like to take this time to personally invite you to take part in what looks to be an exciting tournament on February 2nd. This is my first opportunity to host a regional tournament, so I am thrilled to be holding it at Tennessee Technological University 's Memorial gymnasium.
I want to be able to show my appreciation and dedication to keeping the ATA number one by providing matted rings for our competitors. I hope this is just part of the enhancement on their experience. This facility will enable spectators and competitors to have more than enough room to feel comfortable before, during, and after competition. Stadium seating exists in a horseshoe fashion around the main gym, so watching several rings at one time is not a problem.
Please be aware of, and adhere to, the most current ATA revisions regarding tournament procedures. This includes dress code, sparring gear, and weapons competition.
I thank all the Masters, instructors, judges, and competitors in advance for your support. I know that every successful ATA tournament depends on you.

From Memphis/Jackson/ Nashville (approximately 4hrs/3hrs/1:15): I40 East to exit 286, take Willow Ave North
From Lexington, KY area (approximately 3:30): 75 South to Mount Vernon, Take the US-25 exit- EXIT 62- toward KY-461, take 461 towards Somerset until KY
80, Take the US-127 exit- EXIT 62- toward RUSSELL SPRINGS / JAMESTOWN, 127 into TN and turn left on 111 travel almost 20 miles to I40 West, take exit 287 for Hotels
From Atlanta area (approximately 3:15): Take I75 North to Chattanooga, Just past state line follow I24 to US 27, Follow US 27 to HWY111 North to I40 West (left turn), take exit 287 to hotels,
Evansville, IN area (approximately 3:30): take HWY 41S (Pennyrile PRKY) to
I24, take I24 to Nashville, take I40 towards Knoxville, Exit 286 for
Tournament or 287 for Hotels
Airport Information: Nashville International Airport (BNA) 1 hour drive from Cookeville. Southwest Airlines have typically less expensive flights.
FROM I40: Take exit 286 Willow Ave North approximately 3 miles and turn right on 7th St. (next to Pizza Hut), turn left onto Peachtree at red light, pass through small intersection and Memorial Gym is on the right (Basketball courts behind building)
